Sarah & Reece's day started off with me travelling to bridal prep, the house was packed to the rafters with bridesmaids, family, myself and the photographer, we pressed on and got some great shots. Sarah was quite specific in some of the shots she wanted, revealing her dress so the bridesmaids was one of the main ones so we set to work to make it happen. We organised all of the girls to sit down in shot and manoeuvred Sarah into frame, the results were great! Quite often these moments can be missed so it was nice that we could organise it in such a way that we were all but guaranteed to get great shots.
Grabbing these shots however did put us in a bit of a time predicament, usually I like one hour at the church before the start of the ceremony, with waiting behind at prep we were left with about 15-20 minutes. We raced in and set up all of our cameras in record time, popped a mic on the groom, and grabbed some exterior shots of the church whilst I was waiting for Sarah to arrive. Although we were slightly more rushed than usual the ceremony went by without a hitch.
After the ceremony we moved onto Barnsdale Lodge Hotel where we captured group shots, confetti, and quick couple shoot before the speeches. Lots of emotion and tears later the party tucked into their wedding breakfast whilst I nipped outside to get some drone footage whilst everyone was sat indoors and the grounds were quiet.
Some surprise dancing ladies, a first dance, and loads of dancing later it was time for us to leave, a great day by all accounts.
